How can I fix this error? “Either the beacon is not configurable or cannot be connected for some other reason”

To fix this error, please follow the steps below:

  • Force close the application and any other BLE apps (like Locate, fitbit, etc.)
  • Turn the bluetooth on your phone off and back on
  • Put your beacon in configurable mode (see the instructions here on how to do that)
  • Reopen the RadBeacon Config app and scan for your beacon again
  • If you keep getting the same error contact support@radiusnetworks.com
